Fiery: A Faster Way To Get Files Print-Ready

Every Revoria press comes with Fujifilm's own front end built in. Fiery is the upgrade some businesses choose for extra colour tools and one screen across a mixed fleet.

Every digital press needs something that takes a submitted file, checks it is ready to print, sets the colour, and decides the order jobs run in. People call this a few different things -- a "RIP", after the raster image processing step at its core, or a "digital front end" (DFE). Fujifilm builds its own version, called Revoria Flow, into every Revoria press. Fiery is an upgrade option from a company called EFI, built to do the same job with extra tools.

Revoria Flow is built into the press and tightly integrated with it: built-in colour management and a Speciality Colour Web Viewer (SCWV) to preview specialty toners before you print.

Fiery is a separate option from a company called EFI. The main practical difference: Revoria Flow is a single-vendor setup that's simpler to run day to day, while Fiery's edge is managing multiple Fiery-equipped presses -- any brand -- from one Command WorkStation screen, plus its own colour tools like automatically matching brand colours from Word or PowerPoint files without a plate or special profile. ApeosPro presses have a third option too: Fujifilm's own GP Controller.

  • Fiery Command WorkStation -- manage colour and jobs across every Fiery-equipped press from one screen, useful if you run more than one press brand
  • Automatically matches brand colours from Word, PowerPoint or PDF files (Fiery TrueBrand) without a plate or special profile
  • Higher-volume Fiery servers add HyperRIP, processing multiple jobs or splitting one job across parallel RIPs to keep throughput up
  • Works alongside Revoria XMF PressReady for job scheduling and delivery
  • Two server levels per press, so you only pay for the processing power your volume needs
  • We configure and support whichever front end -- Revoria Flow or Fiery -- fits your business
  • One familiar interface if you run Fiery across multiple press brands, not just Revoria
  • Faster turnaround on busy days with HyperRIP on higher-volume servers
  • Brand colours matched automatically, even from everyday Office files
  • Scales with the business -- start with the lower tier, move up if volume grows
