Colyer only refurbish printers that exhibit low usage and are in good condition upon visual inspection. Furthermore to ensure it optimal performance, each machine undergoes a thorough assessment by one of our experienced and fully manufacturer-trained engineers.
Our engineer will meticulously examines all components, scrutinising the usage counter, upgrading the software / firmware to the latest version, erasing all previous data, and calibrating sensors and printheads. If a scanner is present, it will undergo meticulous cleaning and calibration, lastly rigorous testing using high-resolution colour and black-and-white scans.
Should our enginerr find any part broken or worn, they promptly order a replacement directly from the manufacturer to guarantee optimal functionality. Once the replacement parts are received and fitted, our engineer conducts a final comprehensive check, ensuring everything is in order. The machine then undergoes a thorough cleaning, culminating in a ‘service plot report’ being generated, which is sent to our service desk and a copy will be provided to the new owner upon purchase.
Furthermore when you purchase a refurbished printer from Colyer, you can rest assured that it has been restored to perfect working order and is ready for immediate use.
In addition to further instil confidence in our customers, we offer a minimum 6-month warranty on all refurbished printers, covering parts* and labour. Additionally, we offer the option to engage in our Colyer maintenance service plan, extending the coverage for up to 5 years.
