Production press capacity for a new city-centre site
Banner printing enabled additional high-value revenue streams.
Atlantis Print operates a group of premier print shops across London, serving businesses of all sizes with fast-turnaround, high-precision printing. When they opened a new location in Moorgate to meet growing demand in the City, they needed production capability that matched their reputation for quality and speed. Atlantis Print's expansion reflected a broader trend among professional print businesses investing in additional locations to capture local commercial demand.
During a routine service visit to one of Atlantis Print's existing locations, Colyer engineer Paul noticed the group was running a mix of ageing production printers across their sites. These machines were struggling to keep pace with demand, producing inconsistent colour output and limiting the media range available to customers. For the new Moorgate shop, Atlantis Print needed a production solution that could handle high-volume colour work, support banner printing up to 660mm, and deliver the consistent quality their commercial clients expected — without the reliability problems they were experiencing elsewhere.
Based on a thorough assessment of Atlantis Print's business needs and production volumes, Colyer specified the Fujifilm Revoria SC180 Light Production Press alongside a Morgana Digi Fold Professional finishing unit. The Revoria SC180 was selected for its competitive cost per page, exceptional colour output, and ability to handle banner media up to 660mm — extending the range of products the Moorgate shop could offer from day one. The Morgana Digi Fold added professional document finishing capability, enabling booklet and brochure production in-house. Colyer managed the full installation and commissioning, ensuring the new shop was production-ready for its opening.
The new Moorgate location launched with full production capability from day one. Banner printing up to 660mm opened new revenue streams in large-format document output. Enhanced colour quality across the Revoria SC180's output raised the standard for client-facing work. The Morgana Digi Fold enabled professional booklet and brochure finishing without outsourcing. Productivity and workflow improved significantly compared to the ageing equipment across the group's other sites, and the Fujifilm service contract provided ongoing reliability assurance.
As a trusted partner in large-format print technology, Colyer's engineer, Paul, identified the opportunity during a routine service visit.
