What a Mission!

New doors, a speciality ramp & a 40 hour installation!

We have just taken delivery of this top-of-the-range Fujifilm flatbed printer into our Woking office. This will be our showroom, demonstration machine.

Let’s talk about the installation!

Following the success and interest in the machine on our stand at The Print Show back in September, it was time to add it to our demonstration range of machines at Woking.

Firstly, we realised that our existing loading bay doors were not wide enough to accommodate the Acuity Prime, so a large hole was knocked in the wall and extra-large double doors fitted.

On the day of delivery two vans arrived, one containing a speciality ramp to ensure a smooth journey for the machine from the Lorry to its final location. Once in the building, the two Fujifilm engineers take over the process of setting up the machine ready for use, this process takes a minimum of approximately 5 days. Paul Codd, our Colyer engineer was on hand to learn the installation and set-up process, to ensure we are ready to facilitate our own demonstrations.
